In other words, we are not a mortgage lead generation site that sells your information to multiple lenders. We want to give you accurate and unbiased information so that you will be empowered when applying for a mortgage in New York. Why is it so important to have basic knowledge of how mortgages work? If you get the right loan at the right interest rate you can save thousands of dollars. Why not just fill out an online form instead and see what lenders contact you? You can do that, but if you don't have any idea about the terms and conditions you are offered then you may agree to a loan that you don't fully understand. The traditional advertisers in the mortgage industry aren't interested in whether you understand the terms of your loan because they are in business to make a profit. If a lender can make more money by giving you a high cost loan or a loan that you will have to refinance in two years, then that is the direction they will push you in. Don't get pushed around - get educated.
